Tim completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Australian Catholic University following a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne where he majored in the field of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Tim is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practising /Speech Pathologist.
Tim completed his Honours project on “pre-service primary teachers’ knowledge, attitudes and skills regarding stuttering”. His work acted as a prerequisite step for augmenting future teaching curricula, dispelling myths about stuttering, and reducing negative attitudes and outcomes for children who stutter. He presented his findings at the Speech Pathology Australia 2018 Conference and was invited to join the Golden Key International Honours Society as a result of his commitment to his studies.
Tim has a background in education, working as a Learning Support Staff member and piano teacher for pre-school and school aged children. He is passionate about language and the principles of learning, and has acquired extensive knowledge of the theory behind human communication. Tim thoroughly enjoys his work as a Speech Pathologist and is determined to help his clients achieve their individual goals.
